Hello, good evening! This post is to thank all friends for supporting Loronix Happy Hour during his short existence. Additionally, it is a sincere word of apology to all those who have written comments since launching. An inexcusable negligence made comments notification system off-line since the beginning. All comments were approved today, sorry about this parrot failure.

Anyway, this problem is solved, and to reciprocate, I would like to show to Happy Hour enthusiasts a very curious album recorded by a true Brazilian guitar hero, which is Robertinho de Recife. Let’s see.

This is Robertinho de Recife – Rapsodia Rock (1990), for EMI Odeon, featuring the classical side of this versatile musician, performing electric guitar renditions of classical music and some of his compositions. Robertinho de Recife never missed an opportunity to exercise his music on any genre. His discography brings Heavy Metal, music for kids, MPB, Rock and this cool classical album. This cover alone worth the admission price.  Tracks include:

Jota Junior - Nova Bossa Nova (1966)

Hello! Yet another album silently coming back via Loronix Happy Hour, a classic record that I never had the chance to see a vinyl copy. Little I know about Jota Junior, except this album recorded in 1966 and two previous singles released by the same Musidisc. Perhaps the only person I know that can add more info about Jota Junior is Orlandivo, which I would like to kindly ask for information about Jota Junior, in case he reads this post or someone call his attention. Tracks include:

Tuca - Dracula I Love You (1974)

E-mail Print PDF

Hello! I decide to put this album off-line a couple of months ago at Loronix. It is an acclaimed record, but the files were so scratchy that I did not have another choice. Since then, several friends were crying for a reposting, and I have been looking for the vinyl with no success. Meanwhile, I received another transfer from a friend who lives in Portugal, very well done at 320Kbps.

I would like to make it at Loronix one day, perhaps when I get the vinyl and make another transfer featuring FLAC files and hi-res cover art scans. Anyway, Dracula I Love You is now at Loronix Happy Hour and you will need to register if you want to update your files or take it for the first time. It is a really nice album recorded at Chateau D'Erouville in Paris, with arrangements by Tuca, Christian Chevalier (strings) and François Cahen (brass). Tracks include:

01 - Girl (Prioli / Tuca)
02 - É Uma Lástima (Castro Neto)
03 - Pra Você Com Amor (Prioli / Tuca)
04 - O Sorvete (Prioli / Castro Neto)
05 - Oui Je Suis Heureuse (Tuca)
06 - Dracula I Love You (Prioli / Tuca)
07 - Ilha do Quarto Azul (Duncan / Castro Neto)
08 - Teia Viva (Castro Neto)
09 - 8-2-7 (Tuca / Castro Neto)
10 - Tempo Glacial (Tuca)
11 - O Cisne Negro (Tuca / Castro Neto)

This is Tuca – Dracula I Love You (1974), at Loronix Happy Hour, here.

Hope uEnjoy!
